Amazing People! They do a great job organizing and getting you on the river. I have been there 2 times and definitely will be going back. Everyone is extremely nice and I love that they are a huge part of the foster program for dogs in Tennessee.
Loved the trip. Great fishing and friendly staff. As to the man that posted about the exposed firearm. The firearm is more than likely there for your protection. It is nature. There have been reports of wild animals in nature, snakes included.
The boating experience was fabulous. Would love to do it again. My family though was put off by one of the staff members. He helped into the river while wearing an exposed hand gun. There were multiple families with small children in a very peaceful setting on the edge of a river. I can't imagine what the gentleman felt threatened by. It was an unpleasant way to begin what is a gorgeous trip.
Float a boat was very expensive and over priced. I️ did not like having to wait 2 hours to be picked up by them a the river. My family has tons of kayaks and canoes so after that incident we decided to just drive up there are selves and kayak alone. It was much better than having to pay for the kayaks and stuff.
